Born in Tijuana Baja California Mexico, Jonathan and his family migrated to Southern California at the age of 11, where he was exposed to many different cultures and music. He was impressed when he attended a gospel evangelical church "Good Samaritan". He realized then the power of music and how it stirrs spiritual emotion. He quickly joined the choir and started to learn how to play guitar. However, it wasn't until he met Yvonne Sanchez an established recording Artist in Czech Republic that his life took a turn. Fast forward to 2007, Yvonne Sanchez cooperated with him and he was her executive co producer, recording guitar and vocals as well as being part of the creative composing process with both music and lyric accreditation. Her first original debut album entitled "My Garden" (Warner Music 2008) was a highly acclaimed album reaching gold sales status, music nominations for both album of the year and best Jazz Album of the Year at the Czech Music Awards. 

Since then Jonathan has his own band which he named "SKEPTIMISTIC" performing all original mateiral and has established himself as an artist performing in local clubs and festivals both in Czech Republic, Slovakia and other countries accross Europe. His style is a fusion of genres such as Jazz, Hip Hop, neosoul and dash of rock. Composing lyric mostly based on inspiration from real life events based on social injustice, and political awarness.
